I had LASIK (PRK) a few weeks ago and I couldnt be happier with the results. My experience with Heaton Eye Associates is one that I am very grateful for. I love that Dr.Heaton prayed with me before surgery. From my first visit until this morning when I went to my post-op I have been so pleased with everything.
Extremely attentive and friendly. always making sure youre comfortable and relaxed.

It was my first time there they saw my little boy. Everyone there was so nice they all let him sing his ABCs to them it was great he felt comfortable there and so did I.

I had Lasik done and Im pretty happy with the results.The intial eyes exams are pretty typical and the staff is very pleasant. The doctors are very personable and seem to act with genuine care and pride in their work.However, the actual surgery was mildly terrifying and oddly reminded me of movies scenes with human sacrifice and alien abductions.They put a lot of effort into making it painless and stressfrees as possible, but Im the kind of person who is only happy when their miserable, so the whole zen and quite thing they were trying to promote really just kicked my amygdala into overdrive.The only thing I could possibly criticize is that the recovery time they promote is a bit exaggerated. More a lie of omission. I was able to see clearly and drive safely within a couple days, but it was like wearing a new pair of glasses with a much stronger perscription and you cant take them off. Took just over a week to really adjust and become comfortable with my improved vision.
