Heaton Eye Associates

We realize you have a choice in deciding who provides your vision care, and we are honored you have chosen Heaton Eye Associates! It is our privilege to have served our East Texas community for 40 years. Our team of Physicians and Optometrists want to care for you and your family’s vision at every stage of life.  With all the changes in healthcare – sometimes the message and the choices available can become very confusing. We feel it is important to point out that you still have a say in choosing your physician. The United States Healthcare system still provides you with the option to choose your physician. At Heaton Eye Associates, we have implemented an electronic medical record system that allows us to communicate accurately and easily with any doctor participating in your healthcare, no matter who or where that doctor is located. We know the importance of coordinated care and working together to achieve your best health.  Every ophthalmologist with Heaton Eye Associates is board-certified by The American Board of Ophthalmology. In addition to being board-certified, we have the only two fellowship-trained pediatric and strabismus specialists, fellowship-trained Oculoplastic surgeon, and fellowship-trained Glaucoma specialists in the area. Our specialties include No Shot/No Stitch/No Patch cataract surgery with the most advanced Lifestyle Lenses available, as well as All-Laser LASIK and Botox Cosmetic. Whether you need routine vision care for yourself and your family or are experiencing changes or problems with your vision, Heaton Eye Associates can help! We also have full-service optical shops at our locations in Longview and Athens.  Heaton Laser and Surgery Center is Medicare-approved and has achieved the highest level of accreditation possible for a surgery center. Our staff is dedicated to helping you achieve the best vision possible.  Some health conditions like diabetes place you at higher risk for vision-related issues such as glaucoma or diabetic retinopathy. Because of this, your primary physician will recommend that you see an ophthalmologist for regular vision checks. Remember, you still have a choice in your healthcare provider! You can let them know that you prefer to see a doctor at Heaton Eye Associates.  We want to be your vision care provider for life! If there is anything that we can do to help you with your vision care, please give us a call or visit us on the web at www.heatoneye.com.
