Heaton Eye Charitable Fund
Restoring Sight. Renewing Hope. Reaching the World.
For more than 40 years, Heaton Eye Associates has operated with compassion at the core of its mission—serving not only our local communities in East Texas, but also extending that care across the globe. It’s this purpose that inspired the creation of the Heaton Eye Charitable Fund.
Our Mission
To enhance the quality of life—both locally and globally—by providing reassurance, improving and maintaining vision, and preventing blindness through access to treatment and education.
Globally, it’s estimated that more than half of all cases of blindness are preventable with early diagnosis and treatment. That’s where our team steps in.
How the Heaton Eye Charitable Fund Works
Our mission is twofold:
- To restore sight for individuals at risk of blindness who would otherwise go untreated due to financial or geographic limitations.
- To support global ophthalmic education and research, equipping others with the tools to fight preventable blindness in underserved areas.
Our physicians partner with the Foundation by volunteering their surgical expertise and donating professional services, both at home and abroad, reaching patients around the world.
How You Can Help
Sight is fundamental to how we experience the world—and yet, millions live without it. When eye disease threatens this vital sense, the ripple effect touches families, communities, and futures.
Your support makes it possible to provide life-changing treatment to individuals who would otherwise face a lifetime of challenges.
If you would like to be part of this mission, please consider donating using the “Support Our Mission” button below.
Heaton Eye Charitable Fund is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
