Sejal Lahoti, M.D.

Dr. Sejal Lahoti, M.D., M.P.H., is a fellowship-trained cornea, refractive, and anterior segment ophthalmologist specializing in advanced cataract surgery, vision correction, and the medical and surgical treatment of corneal disease. She provides a wide range of care, including cataract surgery with advanced lens options, LASIK, PRK, EVO ICL, refractive lens exchange (RLE), and treatment for complex corneal and ocular surface conditions.

Originally from the Houston area, Dr. Lahoti earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University before receiving both her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from UT Health San Antonio Long School of Medicine. She completed her internship and ophthalmology residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where she received the PGY-4 Best Resident Research Award and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery Resident Excellence Award.

Dr. Lahoti remained at UT Southwestern to complete a fellowship in Cornea, Cataract, Refractive, Anterior Segment, and External Disease. Her advanced training includes corneal transplantation techniques such as DMEK, DSAEK, and penetrating keratoplasty. She has also authored peer-reviewed publications and presented research at national and international ophthalmic meetings.

Dr. Lahoti believes in taking the time to understand each patient’s vision goals and creating a treatment plan that fits their individual needs and lifestyle.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Lahoti enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, playing pickleball, hiking, baking fresh bread, and spending time with family and friends. She is excited to call Tyler home and care for patients throughout East Texas.
