Heaton Eye Associates is excited to welcome Sejal Lahoti, M.D., M.P.H., a fellowship-trained cornea, refractive, and anterior segment ophthalmologist, to our team in Tyler, Texas.
Dr. Lahoti brings dedicated corneal expertise to Heaton Eye Associates, expanding the specialized eye care and treatment options available to our patients throughout Tyler and East Texas. In addition to treating corneal disease, Dr. Lahoti specializes in advanced cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and comprehensive eye care.

Specialized Cornea Care at Heaton Eye Associates
The cornea is the clear outer layer at the front of the eye and plays an important role in focusing vision. Disease, injury, and other conditions affecting the cornea can cause discomfort, changes in vision, and, in some cases, require specialized medical or surgical treatment.
Dr. Lahoti’s advanced training includes the treatment of complex corneal and ocular surface conditions, as well as corneal transplantation techniques including DMEK, DSAEK and penetrating keratoplasty.
By adding a fellowship-trained cornea specialist to our team, Heaton Eye Associates can provide patients with access to an even broader range of specialized eye care within our practice.
Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Expertise
Dr. Lahoti earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University before receiving her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from UT Health San Antonio Long School of Medicine.
She completed her internship and ophthalmology residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, followed by a fellowship in Cornea, Cataract, Refractive, Anterior Segment and External Disease at UT Southwestern.
In addition to corneal care, Dr. Lahoti provides advanced cataract surgery and vision correction procedures, including LASIK, PRK, EVO ICL, and refractive lens exchange (RLE).
Dr. Lahoti believes in taking the time to understand each patient’s vision goals and creating an individualized treatment plan based on their eye health, needs, and lifestyle.
