Would rate a 10 if I could! I was scheduled to have a pacemaker implanted due to slow heart rate on Monday, 4/28 at 2 p.m. When I had trouble seeing out of my left eye over the weekend, I spoke with Dr. Guenther, the on call physician, over the phone. She worked me in on Monday morning at 10, diagnosed a partially detached retina, and being aware of my scheduled heart surgery, she personally arranged for me to be seen immediately by a retina specialist who performed an emergency procedure at noon and I was able to have my needed heart procedure on schedule. Since I live in Pittsburg, Tx, I am even more grateful. Dr. Guenther is not my regular doctor, but she is wonderful, caring and compassionate. Her staff is also terrific. I am so thankful for and to her. I also have to say that my regular doctor at Heaton, Dr. Dossey, is also great. Cant recommend Heaton enough.
