Was very satisfied with the customer service. My husband is in a W/C and was kind of hard to maneuver but they acted like it was a normal thing. Dr Risner examined him and said with all the problems he had, it basically would be an extra cost to get glasses this visit. Come back in 6 months and maybe some of his other health problems would be resolved and then he might need a new RX. I greatly appreciated that. Thank you

I had cataract surgery and I cant imagine how I could have had better care, or results. There is obviously some concern when someone is working on your eyes, but it appears my results are excellent. On top to that, all my visits at the beautiful new facility were prompt with minimal waiting time. Every staff person was friendly and courteous. I enjoyed the Christian background music. Dr. Dossey took the time to answer my questions and offered a prayer before each surgery. He also called me personally the evening after each surgery to check on my recovery. I will recommend the Heaton Surgery center and Dr. Dossey to everyone looking for opthamological care.

I have always trusted and felt as if I a was receiving great care with Heaton Eye Associates in Athens and Tyler. They took very good care of my dad that had dementia. Dr. Guenther is excellent! However, the new binding in Tyler is not functioning as efficiently as it was. I had to wait an hour and half to be called back. It seems that they had name confusion and I got skipped. I hope they make adjustments to make appointment wait times better in Tyler.

I have worn glasses or contacts for 67 years. I started wearing glasses at 2 and was the girl with the thick lenses until I was 16 and then wore contacts. Contacts helped but if you wear them, you know. I went to Heatons and Dr. Marshall examined my eyes last summer, discussed my options and arranged for me to see one of their surgeons, Dr, Nichol. By the end of August, he had performed the surgeries on my eyes. My vision before the surgeries was 20/300 (not a type300) and it is now 20/20 with no glasses or contacts needed! What a precious gift of sight! Dr. Nichol did an amazing jobhe was kind and so knowledgeable. Im not sure if I will ever not reach for my glasses on the nightstand each morning and laugh because I dont need them! If you are waiting around about having this surgery, talk to them. I am so thankful I did!
