I cant say enough good things about Dr. Nichols and his staff. I recently had LASIK surgery, and its truly been a life-changing experience. I lost most of the vision in my right eye at the age of four due to an eye disease, so Ive relied solely on my left eye for 44 years.After two previous attempts to qualify for surgery elsewhere, I had almost given up hopemy vision had declined to the point where even glasses and contacts no longer helped. Dr. Nichols took the time to evaluate my situation thoroughly and was willing to help make the gift of sight possible again.After more than 20 years of wearing glasses and contacts, I no longer need them. His professionalism, expertise, and over two decades of experience made all the difference. It was absolutely worth the drive to see him, and I would recommend Dr. Nichols and his amazing team to anyone in North Texas considering LASIK.Thank you, Dr. Nichols and staffIm forever grateful for what youve given me.

Dr. Hardin is great. Calming presence. Explained procedure clearly. Great experience and outcome. Staff at Athens facility and surgery center in Tyler were excellent. Highly recommend.
