I have been takin my 7 year old to Dr. Jones for a few years now. He is always great in his treatment of my child and knows how to handle kids. When they dilated my sons eyes they sent us back out into the bright waiting room. They did have those rolled up sunshades but they would stay on his head. It would have been nice to have been able to sit in an exam room with the lights dimed for him. And prehaps some cheap kid shades. Today was the first visit since their move and I miss their old building. The new building reminds me of a cold mini hospital. While it is nice on the outside and lots of room on the inside it doesnt have that comfortable feeling that the old building had. Most of everything is greys and white, just like a hospital. The Pediatric area has chairs that are uncomfortable and 1 toy table. The old building had a room dedicated to the kids and a fish tank which my son was upset to find missing. The rooms we went into are similar, cold and uncomfortable looking. Dr. Jones old office was warm and kid friendly. Im hoping overtime he will change his area to make it more kid friendly and comfortable. I was very happy with the tv shows playing and in his exam room he did have his tv and a few other new things to offer kids to get their attention. Maybe if they added some rugs and their fish tank back it will be more warm. Plants help too, I went to an office that had a lot of plants and it was very nice.

JJ talks too fast and listens too slow, however he eventually listened to my problem and came to the same conclusion that Ive been trying to get across for the last two years.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Marsh. She was very pleasant and helpful. She answered all my questions and gave me some answers about how to fix my vision problems. Heaton Eye Associates is a great place to see a difference

Dr. Todd Nickel is very caring, knowledgable and efficient. All the staff and nurses were the same. Thankful Dr. Heaton has everyone associated with himself in this wonderful facility. My eye is so much better after the first surgery.

Dr. Dossey and the entire staff at Heaton Eye Associates in Tyler were very professional, efficient and reassuring during all of my visits for my recent robotic laser cataract surgery. All of my pre surgery questions were answered in a concise, understandable manner and follow up was the same. Dr. Dossey even called the evening after my morning surgery to make sure I was comfortable and stressed assistance was available 24/7. It was a painless surgery with a very successful outcome.
