I have been going to Heaton Eye Associates, (Drs. Heaton and Marshall, for about 5 years. I am 69 years old and have seen a lot of eye doctors over the years (Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, back to Texas, Louisiana, back to Texas) and find Heaton Eye Associates to be TOP-TIER. i recently had a cataract procedure. And, everything went like clockwork. Dr. Heaton did what he said he was going to do, I did what Dr. Heaton told me to do and, walla, I can see again! What's not to like?!Sidebar - I just love to watch/study good organized operations. Any good organized operation. Heaton Eye Associates is one of the best run, best organized, busy operations I have seen. Everyone is moving with a purpose. They never fail to timely adhere to my appointment time. I hate waiting. Everyone is polite, competent and acts like they are happy to be a part of Heaton Eye Associates.

As you make your way through the examination process you quickly become aware that the same traits are shared by all staff members. Yes, lasik is bona fide eye surgery, and everyone works hard to help you feel at ease with the procedure. Expect all concerns and questions you may have prior to surgery to be answered thoroughly and patiently, and post-op is treated with equal professional caring.
